All About Me, Mike Bresee
Hi, my name is Mike Bresee. I’m 47 and I live in a small town in Ontario, Canada. No “Canadian Eh?” jokes please :)
I have been married to my wonderful wife for 20 years and counting. We have two fantastic boys aged 16 and 18, two cats and a bird. Ummm, I didn’t mean to lump the kids in with the animals. Sorry kids.My education is unremarkable in the sense that I didn’t quite finish my university business degree. I still regret that, but my wife and I purchased a business, with 13 employees, at the time, and going to university after we found out our first child was coming became NOT an option. Life is not always what we expect or planned, but that didn’t stop me from continuing to study business outside of a formal classroom. My business career has been spent about 50/50 between working for someone else and being self-employed. I can tell you for a fact that switching between the two is extremely challenging. For every door that closes, however, another opens. And, that ultimately led me to write
Common Sense Debt Secrets.
In writing you this book my goal was to give you the sum of my knowledge on the subjects of money management, debt solutions, lifestyle coaching and wellness coaching. I know it’s a mouthful, but you would be surprised how they are all connected. My expertise in these areas pertains solely to my own experiences (the good, the bad and the ugly) and the wisdom that has come from them. Living debt free using Common Sense Debt Secrets doesn't just work for me, Mike Bresee, but will work for you too!
So if I may be so bold as to presume...I really look forward to sending you, via email,
my extremely valuable newsletter.
It’s going to guarantee that you’re “in the know” about current events in the money/debt market, plus give you age-old common sense ways of doing things.

Hmmm. So, what else? Let’s see....politically I swing slightly more left than right. More of a liberal at heart, I understand the need for being conservative too. I’m a big fan of going green, but confess to having a hard time cutting back on some things. I love music more than just about anything else on earth except for my family.
I definitely think the banks ought to be ashamed of themselves for the raping and pillaging of anything they can get their hands on. Its death by a thousand cuts the way they nickel and dime us through fee upon fee upon fee. I think everybody should strive to live debt free.
We see now that the bailout hasn’t filtered down to you and I yet. They are still holding on to every dime, even though it’s ours, as if it was their last. Give me a break! And don’t get me going about insurance!
So yes, a big reason for writing this book is to take business away from the banks by empowering consumers with ways of reducing reliance on banking and plastic.
Don’t get me wrong, I love cool stuff and am addicted to cars, stereos, computers and anything that combines all three! Hey, I’m human like you. We all have needs and wants. It’s just what we do with them that separates you from being indebted, to being FREE to spend your money where you wish, not just servicing the interest on an account somewhere.
I strongly believe that the more you empower yourself with being in charge of your own destiny and finances, the farther you will progress in life and the happier you ultimately will be.
Airy Fairy? Ya, I suppose. You see I happen to look for truth in life. I don’t mean that in a mad sense, it’s just that I do seem to be bound by the quest for truth. And as a byproduct of that, one of the things I know is that the more you can chart your own course in life the more you satisfy those higher needs like self-actualization.
So, imagine not ever worrying about money ? What would that be like for you? Would that open up your mind to other possibilities? I absolutely bet it would.
I love my freedom. Do you feel free? If life and the thought of trying to finance it have got you by the throat, maybe there is something I can do for you. Join Me.
